About
Established in 1922, our family owned and run boutique winery produces quality wines from fruit grown on our Swan Valley and Pemberton wine region vineyards. All our fruit is handpicked and processed on our property at Memorial Avenue in Baskerville. We welcome you to sample our wines at our unique underground cellar which was hand dug in the 1920's. Due to the uniqueness of our tasting area it is not suitable for those with mobility issues, however if you call us ahead of your visit we are more than happy to provide a tasting in a more suitable area.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arch, the owner, takes you through some wonderful wines in a fantasic underground cellar. The aged chenin, chardonnay, pinot and cabernet are top class wines. There is no pressure to purchase, but the quality will tempt you to open your wallet. We have never been disappointed previously with any purchase.

This is a family owned and operated winery in Swan River Region that offers a variety of whites and reds.

The cellar door tasting is actually held in a cellar where cabs and Shiraz are aging in oak barrels.

Arch Kosovich, the actual wine maker conducted our tasting. He was a wealth of information and opinion about wine in the region.

If you are a true wine connoisseur, this is a must visit winery!

What a surprise. From the road this looks like a suburban house. Take the time to turn into the side road and park in the generous car park and you will be rewarded with a visit to the underground cellar, great wines and informative and helpful service.

The location and history of this winery are interesting. The wines were good, but nothing we felt was unique. Unfortunately, our host was not particularly talkative or informative.

It was neat to see a fairly small production vineyard in its historic location.

Tasting is in the actual cellar - good atmosphere. Owner was our host. My favourite wine was the chardonnay.

We had a wonderful tasting at John Kosovich Winery last weekend. We booked our small group in for a tasting and Ray Kosovich gave us a history of, not only the winery, but also the underground cellar the tasting was held in, which was dug by hand by his Grandfather. It is a unique experience to be in a room with such historical significance, given it is the cellar tasting room in WA. The wines we tasted certainly reflected that. Significance. To taste the award winning 2015 Chenin, the Chenin that is THE best in Australia, was a real treat. Overall, the tasting was informative, full of information and good humour and delicious wine. My husband and I have bought a few bottles to make our Christmas Day special this year. We love keeping it small and local. Thanks John Kosovich Wines!

The owner takes you through his wines, some excellent drops.! The cellar door is located in a cellar which is neat. The cellar has the tastings and some family heirlooms and a bit of history! Would recommend!

We tried to visit on three separate occasions , and despite their web page showing them to be open, they were closed every time.
We appreciate that February harvest is busy time , but surely is doesn't require much effort to alter opening times.

Dropped into this little winery after a recommendation from the tourist information lady. Loved the entry, huge wine barrel and wine barrels lined up. Loved the creaky stairs down to the tasting bar! The gentleman was friendly and welcoming. We purchased a bottle of wine but could’ve bought one of each! They are great wines. He also recommended a great place to eat further down the road from his winery that we had no intention of even visiting! Thanks Anthony it was excellent. My husband also enjoyed your company and conversation! Good luck on Saturday

You don’t have to leave Perth and you can visit a lot of high quality winery like this one!
You will be also impressed by a lot of big wine barrels over there. Even though not easily for you to see the wine barrels at Margaret River! So come here to make your trip easier!
