Went with my kids aged 2 and 7, both kids had a fantastic time. The lad that led the tour was terrific. Will go again when in Sweden.

Located on the top of a hill with stunning views around. And the most amazing of all is of course that you can see moose from the kitchen window. We had a comfortable apartment (#1) for two which is located at the end of a row of cottages close to the timber lodge. We sought peace and quietness and we... More

We had booked the large cabin and we were greeted as we parked and shown in. There were gorgeous, basic but cosy rooms: the ground floor has a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, two ring electric hob, kettle, coffee machine, crockery etc. Also a double bed tucked away under the stairs. The first floor has a double bed and sofa with... More

We took the local bus 612 from the bus station in Ostersund - left at 1240 . Bus stops near the entrance . Bit of a hike up the hill to the 1pm tour in English which had just started . The guy doing the tour really cares about what he does and described every aspect of the way they... More

We visited in April for a guided tour to meet the mousse. We didn't know quite what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. We were given a brief but very interesting and informative talk about the mousse and were then taken to meet them. They are amazing animals. You are able to get up close and touch them and ask... What a lovely short stay we had in this fun timber house on the hill. Beautiful view of the water one side and moose in the paddock if you're lucky on the other. Thoughtfully provided telescope to help spot the moose a nice touch. Other fun "moose" decor around the house. The accommodation was basic with a small bathroom requiring... More

Moose Garden is definately worth a visit. This place offers you a unique experience where you can meet a moose up close, including petting it, taking selfies with it (yes I did use that word) and kissing it if you feel romantic - things you aren't able to do in the wild. Also you'll get to know anything there is... More

We stayed here in mid-June, just before the place fully opened. This place features a cabin-style accommodation where you bring/rent your own linens. The cabins are clean and feature good views from both sides (one side being the moose). Curtains a bit thin in blocking out the 24-hour daylight, but otherwise very good. Wifi was good. Breakfast can be bought... More

We visited on 29th May, just before the baby moose were born. Our accomodation was a converted farm building, lots of character and comfortable. There are binoculars for watching the moose in the field. Sune is a great host, we were one of a few guests staying over, and he spoke at length about the TV crews who come to... More
