I had a great time shopping in the two story shop and I wish I had so much more room in my suitcase. I picked up a few items that will be great to have a home in Alberta. Everyone needs a spurtle don't they?

This is well worth the visit. The store is well stocked with items $-$$$; something for everyone, especially the knitters. There are a range of sheep products, and the store focuses on items using local products. There's even a book by Sheri Finch about the...More

We loved this place and in fact, over the two months that we were in the area, probably stopped in at least 8 times. Once for slippers, once for shortbread, once for wool, once for the farmers market that they host on Sunday mornings... it...More

We visited the Lismore Sheep Farm & Wool Shop while vacationing in River John. It is a short drive from where we were staying. We loved the grounds and the store, which offered lovely wool products. Very educational!

We stopped by and got to see the sheep, some puppies and a beautiful little calf! We chatted with the employees of the store and had a really lovely visit! The items in the store are very unique and one of a kind!

Lovely shop and farm. We stopped on a mid September afternoon, there was nothing "extra" happening. However the shop was great. Beautiful knitting wools, felting wool, and fleece. I bought some shearing insoles for a pair of boots, waiting for the cold weather now! There...More

We visited on a Sunday when there were several local crafters. Children could pet the sheep, hotdogs/sausages for sale, local music.

Kids liked the sheep, petting the lambs. Arts and crafts store with many locally made goods. Probably spent half an hour or so there.

We were very pleased with the owner and staff. Went before the season, before the farm was open, and the owner opened the store a few minutes early so we could look around. Very kind person and professional. When the salesperson arrived we found more...More
