I visited when the Great Bed of Ware was on display - not sure if it still is. The staff are friendly and helpful and you can buy Ware souvenirs

As local museums go this really is very good. With local history from the beginnings of the town through the wars and everything in between. Even the building itself has a fascinating past.

This is a great little museum that lays out the history of Ware. It even has the Great bed of Ware. There is such a history to Ware that I was completely unaware of. Good for the family.
