Fantastic Landscape

A beautiful area with dramatic scenery and great diving. Very typical contryside / coastline for Gozo - and very unspoiled. Well worth a visit.

The Ta' Cenc in Sannat on Gozo is located in the outskirts of the village and was the first five star hotel on Gozo. Maybe no longer a five star hotel, but we were received by welcoming staff and the service was excellent. The hotel is built in a Gozo farm house style with all rooms on frond floor area,... More

The Ta Cenc cliffs and garigue landscape are absolutely wonderful and a definite 'must' to visit on the island. In April one can walk and enjoy the wild flowers in this unique habitat before the heat of the summer turns it into a brown but nevertheless fascinating area. The cliffs themselves are spectacular especially at sunset when the tall rocks... More

You'll have a fantastic view, and the cliffs are full of colorful wildflowers in spring. For some reason there were a lot of flies but if you keep moving it's not a big problem.

We visited in early March 2017. Finding the trail is not particularly easy and you might need to ask someone. When we parked there were signs indicating no entry but the locals told us it was fine to walk to the cliffs. The views are stunning but be aware that there are no fences or barriers and this could be... More

this was one of the places I plan to visit in Gozo. My schedule was Mgarr ix Xini ---> Ta Cenc ------> destroyed Azure Window -----> Il Ramla Il Hamra beach ---->San blas Beach and back to Mgarr. There is good marking to indicate where Ta Cenc is however without a GPS I think we would have hesitated about which... More
