Used the reserve as a walk up to the Red Tower. The reserve is a little unkempt and smells of sewerage as you enter from the main road. I did like the stepped footpath up to the tower which was a hard steep walk. One...More

Small peaceful nature reserve run by Bird Malta, who appear to be doing good work in conservation and educating against killing of birds. Two hides with staff who were friendly and wanting to pass on their bird knowledge. No large nos of bird species, but...More

Visited here with small children and really enjoyed it. The staff are very helpful and pointed out the birds that could be seen from the second hide. Well worth visiting for a quiet walk through nature.

We walked through here last year on the way back from Agnes Tower. Love that they have made such an effort and it's a really peaceful and pleasant place.

We visited three times during our holiday-it's only open Saturdays and Sundays in winter 10am -4pm. We saw a few chameleons and a flamingo. There were many ducks but not much bird life at this time of year.
