This has a bit of a climb attached but believe me it’s well worth it, the views from the headland are magnificent.

I had read about this place before going to Malta and was really hoping to catch a sighting of the migratory flamingos that had been staying at the reserve. Luckily I got some photos of the last flamingo (others had already left). The volunteers were...More

This was free to enter and the staff were very helpful and chatty when we asked questions about the birds at the reserve but I feel this would have been more suited to bird watchers as really you need binoculars to see the birds. We...More

Used the reserve as a walk up to the Red Tower. The reserve is a little unkempt and smells of sewerage as you enter from the main road. I did like the stepped footpath up to the tower which was a hard steep walk. One...More

Small peaceful nature reserve run by Bird Malta, who appear to be doing good work in conservation and educating against killing of birds. Two hides with staff who were friendly and wanting to pass on their bird knowledge. No large nos of bird species, but...More

Visited here with small children and really enjoyed it. The staff are very helpful and pointed out the birds that could be seen from the second hide. Well worth visiting for a quiet walk through nature.

This is a lovely nature reserve to enjoy on a quiet and sunny day. Be sure to grab a set of binoculars from the office!

Flamingo. Spotting a chameleon though was a delight on the path towards the second hide.
