By chance I came across this little court yard next to the church and found it a most unexpected oasis for a prayer and a meditation. A very lovely place to stop for a moment and listen inwards.

It is worth coming here to pray to one of the saints. In addition to the shrine, there is a small 'museum' of sorts with items and letters sent from people who have been healed after prayers to the saint.

A beautiful little church with some beautiful religious icons. We happened to be there when a busload of German OAPs came in and photographed everything in sight ignoring a no camera s sign on the door. It turned a religious experience into a circus! Across...More

You have a pavement all the way up from your hotel. I have done the walk many times, in summer too, with small children, from Mellieha Holiday Centre.

I agree with the above answer. The bus stops very near to the Luna complex, you could always get a bus to church and walk bac - all downhill.
