This area is buzzing during the whole of the day. Lots of high end shops, restaurants and bars. It's easily accessed by bus from Playa Del Ingles, or a twenty minute stroll from Maspalomas.

Previously uninspiring, this landmark (well, seamark, really!!) has been sympathetically restored very recently and is now open to the public. An historic site, it probably would have no interest for very young children, but good to visit for adults if you are in the area,...More

Located between Las Meloneras and Maspalomas. A real landmark which are seen from far away. If you get lost- look for the lighthouse Faro.

Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from and posh hotels. The lighthouse cannot be visited which is a shame.

Beautiful looking lighthouse as a beacon on the beautiful maspalomas beach We always tell the taxi driver to head for el faro Everybody knows it and can see it Our dilemma when we arrive is turn left for the beaches or right for the shops

Fabulous landmark on the opposite end of town from the dunes. Wonderful lighthouse with great fountain to the left in the grounds nearby. Feels like a must see
