Beautiful and well taken care of. A great walking distance from the beach. Tossa would be just a beachtown with nothing to show without it.

Yes, it is open. Next to the castle you can find a lot of restaurants and cafeshops.

As above you can catch the bus but I would recomend walking it. Although it seems high it's a steady incline and a nice walk.
