Helpful staff with plenty of brochures available in multiple languages. There is also a shop plus toilets under the one roof.

It is just an ordinary office painted in red where you get your tickets from. Otherwise you can get it online. Surprised that these are also up for reviews

I loved Flåm, but the ATM in the visitor centre gave me invalid old Norwegian notes. It was a mess and ruined my day. The ATM bellonged to Aurland Sparebank, and they seem to have missed proper maintenance.More

We never used much, but on our last day in Flam, with trains getting cancelled, the person in information counter answered politely and gave few tips. Flam railways Conductor, organised the taxi to Bergen for few of us as we pre-booked our tickets to Bergen.

Flam is a small village with tons of things to do and see. The tourist office is very helpful and workers are all multilingual.

i found the tourist centre to be knowledgable and helpful, they gave us all tips on things around flam and also time taken for various hikes etc. they patiently answered all queries

We were on a tour and taking the train was on our itinerary. Our guide purchased our tickets and I just entered to use the restrooms, twice! There are things to read about the area and of course a store to shop.More

The day we were there our cruise ship let off about 2500 guests which made for a crouded village. The shop is no different than anyother souvonier shop and because it is Norway it tends to be expencive

I believfe the train would be the best option. Contact the Flam tourist Office. Apologies for the delay in answering. I returned from Borneo yesterday.

All I can say is there are 3 Steps up into the Train (like most continental Trains) Best Check with Flam train office..Hope that Helps..John
