This small and free museum really helps put the train journey into perspective and I actually enjoyed the train journey more from having visited the museum. Plenty of interesting exhibits on the construction of the line and how it has been run over the years....More

Something free in such an expensive place is always good and it is a nice but small museum. The owners are very friendly which helps too. Worth a visit.

This small free museum is well worth a visit but try to do so when is is not overcrowded with cruise ship passengers. It provides interesting exhibits from the times when the Flam railway was constructed.

Called in here after my Flam rail journey. Fantastic exhibits, including original rolling stock, and stories that portray the history of the Flam railway. Free entry. Very educational and easy to understand. Right next to the station. Well worth a visit.

I almost didn't go in because from the front this looked like a tourist trap shop claiming to be a museum. But once you got through the shop, the museum was a hidden gem. Its not a huge museum, but expect to spend a half...More
