The piazza is a large open area beteeen some imposing and significant buildings. It's very clean and well maintained and while it doesn't have the charm of many older, smaller Italian piazzas with cobbles or trees, it's a good to spot to sit, people-watch and...More

Around the square you'll see beautiful buildings i.e. churches, restaurants and the Municipio, town hall I guess. Good food and ice cream from Eataly. This square was built by Mussolini for himself.

Yes the place is large and nice. It is also clear and clean, it is pleasant to walk and have a drink. But that is all. I have not felt something special like in other places in Italy.

This piazza is the centre of Forli. It is dominated by the beautiful monastery and has a statue of Saffi who was an important figure in the unification of Italy. A good place to sit outside a cafe and quaff an espresso.

This is one of the biggest Italian squares I have seen. It is perfect for festivals and events. If it only was more crowded with local people........
