A must do if you are in the region. This really long alpine coaster offers you a ride through the forest and great views. Take your time as you will encounter queues at the start, and try to queue behind folks that are limely to speed up if you do not want to get stuck on the way down.

Lovely ride up the mountain, had lunch at the hotel and took the children around the petting zoo and playground. Quite a queue for the Osttirodler. Even though they space you out a fair bit I got stuck behind a super slow lady. Still great fun though and a long ride.

Don't use the brake. Just keep your distance from the guy in front of you and go full speed ahead. Great views of the hills and the city

This is a blast, we all loved it, kids screamed in delight and parents may have let loose the odd scream too! We didn't have time to stay in town so it was a quick stop to ride the luge and then on. Well worth the effort though.

The track is long enough - about 3 km - not to feel that it is to soon over. You can surprise yourself laughing alone, when taking the corners with max. speed, which is limited at 40 km/h. After a part of the track through the wood, at the end of the track you can circle and look over the... More

We were visiting Lienz when we noticed a picture of the alpine coaster. After asking for directions, we took off walking just a short distance out of town. Found it. Rode it. RAN back to the bus, which was held up exclusively for us. I apologized on the speaker system to everyone - and told them it was totally worth... More

I reckon it's one of the better Sommerrodelbahnen in Austria, Worth the drive from Tyrol or Salzburg area. We combined this attraction with a great scenic drive through Grossglockner coming down from Zell am See. One thing you wont find on the website is a very nice high-rope park and a small zoo at the top where you can spend... More

We had a lot of fun here during our trip to Lienz. We only spent about 2 hours here but it was fun filed. We rode on the coaster twice which was the best bit! We also enjoyed the lift ride up the mountain which was stunning as it was a lovely sunny day and we were able to look... More

Probably one of the better "Sommerrodelbahnen" in Austria. It's fairly long and offers a diverse track. The gondola took us up, and as we were visiting on a monday early September, the queue was not too long. I just should have gone before my girlfriend ....
