As many of the grand cathedrals of Europe, this one is imposing and beautiful. Not many, if any, superlatives are claimed by this basilica. However, in a land of great Gothic and Romanesque cathedrals, this one takes a bit of a departure with it's baroque...More

Another of the glorious buildings found in this area. Great example of the local architecture. We spent some time walking around the outside and enjoyed taking in all the detail.

This is a very nice cathedral with beautiful paintings and sculpture. Be sure to walk to the front and get a glimpse of the side chapels next to the main altar.
