walking through the park, crossing the bridge and touring the interior court and around the castle will be enough and you'll save a couple of euros. the museum may be interesting but all the explanations are in German.
a great idea to build a castle in the midle of the lake connecting it with a bridge..great view and worth a try to go there.to go inside you have to buy a ticket..i prefered just to walk around the castle and make photos. :)
You will need literally 20 min to see the whole castle, though it is a nice one. We were a bit unlucky, there were preparations for a concert, so, the inside was hidden behind a lot of chairs :-), nice stroll around the castle.

Visited this castle to take a rest cs we were driving to get to Vienna. Pretty nice place, free parking and free entry too. Wouldn't go a long way just to see this place tho, worth to see if just passing by otherwise I don't...More
I just visited last week during the "Schloesseradvent" and it was really nice there. Romantic, great view and nice attractions there. The market there also offered nice things to buy.
My only complain I'm having that it is even in this huge crowd of people...More
