This is not as big as Athirapally/vazachal falls, but still a nice view. Located on the main rod itself, there was no much water. Quite a good place for a shot stop 10-15 min nd for few clicks.

It was an amazing experience. The thundering sound of the waterfalls can be heard from a distance. The waterfall is spread over to two places. A beautiful place for photography lovers.

The Charpa falls are on the road between Athirapally and Vazhachal. When we went immediately after the monsoons, they were full and impressive.

Like us, all visitors to Athirapally will also see Charpa and Vazhachal.

There is no fee to see Charpa as it is a roadside waterfall, after all.

We enjoyed our day here walking along the road through the forest for about 10 km or so. The weather was pleasant at the time, though it would be warm and muggy in summer and I wonder if the Charpa falls even have water then as this is not on the Chalakudy river like the other two.

In summary, this area is wonderful for nature lovers especially just after the rains. Watch out for leeches if trampling in the undergrowth!

A must watch waterfall in the roadside in the raining season. It's on the way to Athirapilly to Vazhachal. We can park the vehicle nearby the spot. We can experience mist on our face. The best and proper visit time is a heavy raining season.

This falls in on the left side of the road leading to Vazhachal falls from Athirapalli falls. A neat parking spot right in front of the falls allows good group and individual photos to be taken. Close up photos also possible due to the bridge that has a walking path too. Lots of water this time of the year. Looks great.

You will come by this waterfall while going towards Vazhachal falls from Athirapally falls...however you can listen to the roar of the falls from quite a distance...
It is not a huge as Athirapally or Vazhachal but then its quite a sight to behold...
you will also find monkeys all around here 🐒🐵...though they seemed to be camera friendly...
However, if the place becomes crowded, there is an issue of parking...😑
There is no tickets required here...so its free viewing...😀

It is a small but powerful waterfall on the side of the road from Athirapally falls to the Vazhachal falls. Very small compared to the others but easily accessible. No walk or trek. Great for a photo shoot.

A very nice and beautiful waterfall.
It's a good place to take photos with the waterfall as the background.
