Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tripolia Gate is one of the entry gates to the city.It has been there since the time of the Nawabs .One gets to see it when you pass that way. There is no point in making a special trip to see the gate.

That’s the main entrance to the palace premises. Remains mostly congested with traffic. The architecture is a typical testimony to the Bengal sultanate. The gate remains mostly unattended and unpreserved. But one has to pass through it to reach the palace premises.

Such gates are common to see in India esp at entry points to city or at important junctions. This gate is one like them except that it is better maintained. Otherwise nothing to see in it. This gate falls on the way while visiting places in the city and would not feel its presence at all.

A normal place under which a road runs. People say many anti social things happen near it at night times so avoid it.

You'd pass through this gate to reach the hazarduari palace museum. This isn't really much of attraction. Might stand below it for a while and take a snap at most.

This is a gate on the road to Hazarduari and near the palace. White old gate looks elegant thought it is a haunted place (I heard so).

It was originally used to welcome Nawab of Bengal. There is nothing to see in particular. You will probably go through this gate thousand times

Historic Old Gate - Nothing Special

You can walk to this from the VIP gate to the palace - The is little to see other than the old gate.

Nothing great by look. Has 3 arches , example of Nawabi- islamic architecture. Could be kept better maintained. Crowded area . Can visit but not a must in Mursgidabad.
