Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice place to take a break to walk around on land from a few hours on the beat looking for wildlife. We saw quite a few deer, crabs, birds and ducks. This is an enclosed walking bridge. There is a watering hole where wild animals come to drink sweet water.

With my friends my trip to Sundarban Tour was from 25.01.20 to 28.01.20. A real new experience through the world's largest mangrove forest and the largest delta. from this watch tower, we the see the main land of Dakhinroy(Royal bengal tiger). though we have fenced with wire but it is really a fear mixed wired experience. Nice place to see the farmer, fisherman, honey hunters main land.

From this watch tower, one can view Jungles of Sundarban. We realize how nature is playing its role in an amazing way.

Tigers may be spotted from the tower if it happens to be your lucky day! There is a freshwater pond near the tower where the tigers come to drink water, they say. But it all depends upon your stars!

We went to Sudhanyakhali on Third day of our sundarban trip. The height of the watch tower is not that great. A large sweet water pond increases chances of seeing animals, but we weren't that lucky. You may enjoy the walk around the tower, rest nothing much was there.

Visited the watch tower on the trip to sunderban, it was located close to the Sunderban Tiger Camp. You are dropped from the ferry , enter into a gate and there is a ticket counter , our guide took the tickets , could see monkey with a baby in the garden, moved to the tower and tried to see some animals but there were none. The tower is close to a fresh water man made pond which act as a reservoir for the animals to drink water. Rest of the water is salty thus there are chances of spotting tiger and deer. But saw only monitor lizards and crocodile. but after spending some time saw a big deer , which ate some leaves and left , Down from tower and saw another deer but could see croc and many lizards, Plenty of yellow and red crabs can be seen. There is an information center , not very great but ok. It closes at 4.30 PM so you need to be there before it. You can see Sundari tree on which the name sunderban is named. Now you know the secret of the name. Worth going but i Bellevue all watch towers are same. The department should put some binoculars so that people can see far off animals. It could be paid . Nice view though

This is a very well maintained property - and entry is free. Travellers are advised to try and reach there early in the morning if possible to enhance your chances for animal sightings. During the day time it gets crowded and with such a high noise level, your chances of animal sightings is negligible. However the views from the watchtower is very pleasing to the eyes.
