Great place to take the dog for a walk, or just go for a picnic. The windmill is really nice and well maintained, the grounds are well cared for, open year round.

In the winter, the site is accessible by foot. Some trails are cleared from the snow for a walk on the premises. Stunning views of the river, the city from afar, migrating geese and the historical windmill.

This is a great place to visit especially during summer time. Site aims at education on windmills and their usage through time. Kayak rental available on site.
