This is the best zoo we have been to for getting close to the animals. The tiger enclosure was amazing. Lovely friendly lady in gift zoo who made us feel really welcome. Even on a freezing cold day it was well worth the entrance fee. Excellent for families.

I visited thrigby recently with my sister. We had both visited years ago when we were little so thought it would be nice to go back and see what it was like. We both loved it. We went in November so everything was very quiet. I think actually there was only us and one other man in the whole park.... More

I visited this park as part of an ambition to visit all of Britain's zoo and wildlife parks. Although it is on the smaller size, the variety of species is very good. The indoor areas are well laid out, and the elevated walkways above the tigers give a unique perspective. With 3 types of Leopard and Golden cat as well... More

We visited the Thrigby Hall wild life Gardens at the end of January 2017 with our 2 year old granddaughter and her parents. Not many visitors on this bright sunny winters morning gave us the time to enjoy the large selection of animals reptiles birds and fish. We were surprised at the range of animals for such a relatively small... More

The wildlife park looks tired and run down now, have visited at least once a year. No staff to be seen to ask any questions about the animals etc, more money seems to have been spent on the children's play area than the actual enclosures and zoo

Brilliant day out. Excellent value for money. We especially loved the crocodile house. They have a lovely out door play area and a cool 3D maze, which my 8 year old found most fun. We bought sandwiches for lunch which where really good quality as didn't have time to pack a picnic.

Really enjoyable visit, friendly staff and great opportunities to see the animals up close with walkways leading up and around enclosures. Reasonably priced cafe and gift shop. So glad we found this place - was a great addition to our holiday outings.
