Nicely sized art museum

Not too big, not too small. Great place to stop when in Eskilstuna and looking for something to do. Carrying both quite dated and contemporary modern art exhibitions. There were... read more

Easily accessible with a good lunch restaurant and nice museum shop. Different exhibitions regularly.

A fine little gem with a small number of representative paintings complemented by exhibitions that are often well worth a detour. No entry fee. Friendly staff - when did you actually last discuss art with a museum employee? :-)

Here you can see the history of Eskilstuna. Interesting. Free. Not a private museum. Open all weekdays.

Not too big, not too small. Great place to stop when in Eskilstuna and looking for something to do. Carrying both quite dated and contemporary modern art exhibitions. There were some nice featured Swedish artists exhibitions while I was there. Oh, and it's free!

Eskilstuna Konstmuseum is an art museum with paintings and contemporary arts. When we visited the museum last week, they had temporary exhibitions of paintings by the painter Peter Frie and rings made of broken glass by jewelry artist Titti Bjernér. Very interesting exhibitions. This museum is worth a visit if you are in Eskilstuna. The entrance fee is free.
