I had booked a 4 hour boat trip for a group of 8 for our friend’s hen do due to be in early April. It was so easy to arrange with Andre, who was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, due to the current situations with the COVID-19 outbreak, we had to make the sad decision to cancel our trip to Portugal and all the activities we had planned. I got in touch with Andre to see if, given the circumstances, he would be willing to refund the 50% deposit we had already paid to secure the trip. I anticipated that this may be a difficult conversation and the reality that we probably wouldn’t get out money back. Within 24 hours of sending my email, I got the usual friendly message from Andre confirming that of course he would return the money with no problem whatsoever. Within a couple of days, I received the full refund in my bank account. We will undoubtedly be using Algarve by Boat if we eventually make it out to Portugal another time and have absolutely no difficulty in recommending them to anyone else out there! This experience was extremely enjoyable with great service and an affordable price. Andre and Claudio, our skippers, were very professional and friendly, pretty much the best we have ever had. They gave us good tips about where to visit in the area and gave information about the several beaches we passed. Snacks and drinks were provided, along with the option to play your own music. In the summer they offer snorkeling and paddle boats while in the winter they give blankets for the chilly winds. They also keep an eye out for dolphins in case they are near. We will for sure be back in the summer for another boat tour with them.…

Turned up for this experience and it was just hubby and I and the crew, made up of Andre and Claudio who were happy to set sail (so to say). It was quite amazing and very full of information en route. Andre pointed out quite a lot of interesting tit bits and so too did Claudio. The experience was amazing and wish we had done it in the summer! I will strongly recommend this firm and the experience.…
