I'll start this review with a baseline of physical expectations. I hiked this trail with my boyfriend. He's upper 30's, wakes up at 5am to go to the gym and trains people to run half marathons...for fun. I'm in my early 30's and once ran...More

We arrived by boat and walked through the village. You can head straight up the hill for a great view. The Cathedral is worth a visit. Many good retaurants including food right off the boat

For those who don't want to walk up the hill it's easy to drive and park on the road leading to San Rocco. No climbing and a brief 10minute walk to mortola village on the hiking path for stunning sunset views.

We walked from the hotel Cenobio Dogi up many steps to San Rocco and a bit beyond: spectacular views across a sunny bay and a Camari Orange at the top. Went back again another day.

Camogli is a lovely old fishing village . It is laid out well and gives the space to stroll along the front past many interesting shops and restaurants. The harbour and old church, along with the ancient wall are good spots to see. I would...More

We walked from Camogli, via San Rocco, to Punta Chiappa. From here we walked to San Fruttuoso. Before we started the hike, we asked the lady at the tourist information about it. She told us that it should be 2 hour, flat walk from Punta...More

This trail has it all for the experienced hiker: great sea cliff views, WW2 bunkers, chain-assisted traverses of steep cliff faces, and charming villages at both ends. At a little over 5 miles long with about 2500 feet of vertical relief it requires a good...More

The walking trails are superbly laid out and signposted. Breath taking views. Take plenty of water, pack your best smile, and smile all the way around. Memorable walk

We actually hiked this route twice once via the Batterie and once on the inland route which is much easier. The Batterie route has breathtaking views but you definitely need to be happy with hiking along slippery rocks, holding onto metal guide chains and a...More

Check out the old German artillery battery It's an easy hike to view this historic site from WW2. There are 2 ways to hike to it: a flat, easy route or a steep climb. It is about 45 minutes from Genoa. Great place for a...More

Hello, if your son is confident with trekking and not scared of heights the path won't be a problem at all. Many young boys use to come here with their *trained* parents or with guides. I wouldn't describe the hardest points... More
