A beautiful old cathedral with free entry. It is being 'cleaned' inside and amazing to see the difference it makes. If you like old buildings and architecture then it's well worth a visit.

If you don't know you're looking at a key site in the history of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, this would look like a dull grey old church. But once you get inside, as especially inside the attached museum, you see the real beauty of...More

For this small city it is a very nice and interesting Cathedral. And the first time you come inside and have a nice, fresh smell. The Cathedral is free of entrance and worth to visit. And outside the church you will find plenty of nice...More

A clear reference of all the arquitectonic styles of the area, the cathedral took many years to be done so you can se a mix and influences of all the arquitects and styles that influenced Jaca and Aragon in the Medieval Ages.

Being 10th C in these parts, this cathedral was used as a model for many others. Romanesque basically means that the arches are semi-circular, so walls are massive to support the weight - the kind of thing you see in Norman castles in England. This...More

This is one of the oldest Romanesque cathedrals in Spain. Yet, only parts of the current structure are the original since additions were made throughout the centuries all the way to the 18th. so many styles can be detected in regular visit, good for educational...More

Beautiful cathedral with all styles from Roman to Gothic to Baroque incorporated in one building. To really see some of the interior, pay an euro to put on the lights.
