A must see. Besides the pieces, it helps you understand the Roman history of Merida. The open and Roman-style of the museum is interesting. Don't forget to check out the Roman road and ruins below the museum. Free Sunday mornings till 3pm!

This museum is a must go for any visitor in Mérida. It is highly recommendable to attend on Sundays, taking advantage of the free visit. Anyway, it is really inexpensive

I definately recommend a visit to this museum. I went wanting to get out of the heat and was overwhelmed with the extent and highly professional display. It's jaw dropping in the extent of material on display and FREE!!!!
