A wonderful opportunity to see how these magnificent thoroughbred horses are bred and cared for. After the tour of the stables, you are treated to a performance where the trainers demonstrate their skill in controlling and training these beautiful creatures. I learned a lot about the history and tradition - the guides speak several languages and are very knowledgeable. I... More

This is not a horse show but a way to learn more about the beautiful horses of Andalusia.Your tour begins with a bit of history and then moves to learning how the horses are bred and cared for at the facility The highlight takes place in the ring where we see the results of their training and the close relationship... Not being a great fan of horse, I found the tour overly long and tedious. Would highly recommend to my friends who love horses and everything surrounding them. Theses people are well informe, have along history with Andalusian horses.

A wonderful well organised introduction to the beautiful Andalusian horse. Tours are offered in many languages. Our well informed guide spoke great English. You visit the stallions in their stables and the other buildings of this fascinating studfarm. They are so well behaved. The show in the indoor area had plenty of variety with mares and foals free running and... More

As a lifelong horse lover, once I saw this tour/horse show on TripAdvisor, I purchased tickets online long before even leaving for my trip. I almost didn't make it due to difficulties with my flight to Spain, but am so very glad I ended up being able to get there! The tour was informative and interesting ("just enough" as my... More

A local in Jerez recommended that we visit Yeguada de la Cartuja, and we were not disappointed! We had a fantastic tour guide called Andries, who took us on a tour of the horse farm and gave us some insight into the history, breeding and training of Spanish horses. The horses are magnificent! I know very little about horses, and... More

The only problem with visiting Yeguada de la Cartuja, is that you will want to buy an Andalusian horse. I imagine that they're not cheap! Fantastic place, with an informative tour, followed by a nice show. A real must do when visiting enchanting Jerez!

What a fantastic place this is to visit. Our guide was well informed, with perfect English. She made the tour of the stud totally fascinating. The horses are truly beautiful. A magical experience!
