Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Strolling through these old streets sets you back by centuries. The shops are nice and offer a great variety of unusual arts and crafts work. The market square in front of the church has restaurants and cafes, all worth visiting.

Heppenheim on the Hessian mountain road is a gem for wine and culture lovers. The Old Market with its seven viewing axes is one of the most beautiful marketplaces in Germany. Friends of the outdoor theatre are offered a varied programme in the Kurmainzer Amtshof.
The “Bergstraße” wine-growing region (with about 400 hectares one of the smallest in Germany) is known for wonderful Rieslings and fresh white Burgundy wines. They can be tasted in the Staatsdomme Bergstraße.
Anyone planning a trip to Heppenheim or Bergstraße is welcome to contact me or my agency.

Lovely little medieval town. Very quiet, no hussle and bussle. Plenty of old wooden buildings with narrow streets which open out into a large square.

Really cute market place, old buildings are very well maintained, it was a bit cold during my visit and also not too many people were there as it was Sunday. I loved the architecture and can't wait to go there again also to spend more time and walk around the vineyards as well.

My friend took me to this quaint old town on a public holiday. The town was nearly empty and that allowed us to enjoy a peaceful stroll around town.
We followed the "lamp posts". On some of the lamp posts there are signs which tell different stories. Those are written in German but my friend interpret them for me.

Amazing little German tourist town and by that I mean where Germans go to vacation. There are amazing lamps all of the town that are unbelievable. The town center is full of restaurants that spill out into the center and is great for sitting back and relaxing. Since it is not a real well known for Americans, English options are not always available but this makes the experience that much more perfect.

This is a very nice place to visit in Heppenheim. I stayed there for 3 days and walked through those houses. By the time I have been there, nit many people were around. All locals. Although it is a small town, people don't say hi to each other much. That was weird.
But over all nice small town to visit.

Very compact and easy to explore. Not busy but it was quite cold when we were here. On a sunny day you will not get a better setting than meal or a drink in one of the 3 main restaurents in the outdoor seating in the Market Platz.
