Schloss Ahrensburg is a must visit when in the village of Ahrensburg. It is a perfectly preserved castle from the 16th century with furnishings from the 17th and 18th centuries. The audio tour is fantastic.

This is a interesting castle and you have to see it if you visit Ahrensburg. They have a special exhibition about how they renovated the castle

Hotel was across the street, and the location was centrally located. Still beautiful, ideal when you have time to make a leisurely visit.
