I hate picking my way through cigarette butts and other peoples rubbish, so beaches are generally to be avoided for me. Le Touquet however has the cleanest beach I've ever been on, I don't know how they do it! At low tide it can be...More

Had a lovely day at the beach here - clean and well organised with good announcements made for weather changes (when a storm came) or lost children. You might want to book ahead for lunch at the beach clubs on busy days as they were...More

What more could you want from a beach?! The sand is gorgeous, pale and fine, and the beach is very clean. The life guards are on it! The sea goes it a long way at low tide. The area to the east turns into beautiful...More

Great lifeguards, very helpful on where we should be bathing. Lovely sand, clear blue skies, clean beaches, what more can we say.

Stopped of here for lunch on a road trip through northern France. This is a lovely sandy beach with plenty of space. (Not much shade) and it is very clean. Facilities are close by and there is an area sectioned off just for sun loungers....More

Quite simply Le Touquet beach is vast and sandy. Its a great long walk and is really quiet towards the more dune like end. Beautiful.

The cleanest beach I've seen on the French North coast, at low tide it is about 1km (!) wide. Excellent for an early morning or late evening walk.

To be honest whilst there may be some restrictions ,we saw a few people with dogs. There are miles and miles and miles of beautiful sandy beach so even if you need to walk a little bit there will be somewhere

I cannot confirm if dogs are actually allowed on the beach but can confirm I have seen dogs both on the beach (sand part) and in the water. Yes, there is a promenade that "stretches for a way," a long way that is.There is... More
