This is a proper beach! The apartment blocks & cafes haven't been built right up onto the beach which is perfect as it means it gives you this beautiful long stretch of sand before you get to the sea. Walking down to the water is...More

This beach is really well looked after, we stayed at the Novotel and could hear the tractor going up and down each morning cleaning up seaweed etc The sea is cold but it is the English Channel I suppose. Lots of sports and activities to...More

Lovely big beach - long tide times, so always plenty of dry and wet sand! Lifeguards very visible, play areas for children (charged) and toilets - you need to pay for. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the town, but a bit pricey! Could stay...More

We rented a house within walking distance for a large family gathering, ages 6-70 and this beach was just wonderful. Never crowded, vast expanse of sandy beach, safe bathing, paddling. Only negative couldn't find a public loo close by so had to use the beach...More

Perfect beach that is so big it does not seem crowded. Plenty of activities for children. You can go on a Segway tour, hire a sun lounger and have meals and cocktails.

Miles of fabulous soft white sand. Sea was clean and lovely to swim in. Even though it was very hot and sunny and there were lots of people, there is so much space you don't feel crowded.

I cannot confirm if dogs are actually allowed on the beach but can confirm I have seen dogs both on the beach (sand part) and in the water. Yes, there is a promenade that "stretches for a way," a long way that is.There is... More

Hi, there is nothing on the beach except cafes/bars etc. The closest restaurant of any note (about 5 minutes walk) is Ricochet at: 49 rue de Paris, 62520 Le Touquet – Paris-Plage, France
