By no means a must see but pleasant to walk around for an hour or so with some interesting buildings and outdoor art and some decent places to eat. There is a small but decent market on a Saturday morning,

If you enjoy searching out old and quirky bits of history, this is for you. A quiet day will see shops closed and people eating very peacefully on the pavements of restaurants. Take the self-guided tour from the tourist office - it's worth it. You...More

The bridge was a delight to look at and reminded us of the Ponte Veccio in Florence. The difference was that the bridge here was spoilt with all the noisy bars and resteraunts. However, well worth a stroll across the bridge

Brittany (or Bretagne in French) has a lot of quaint little towns. If you happen to be in Brittany, stop by Landerneau and take a stroll around town! You won't regret. The center part of the town has small streets lined up with houses dated...More

We've been driving by on the nearby expressway for years. Landerneau has been there all this time, its charms unknown to us. But no more. We have walked on the "pont habité" or bridge covered by buildings, one of the last in Europe. The river...More
