For me it was a bit strange that in winter season the gardens are free of charge. But after visiting it everything became clear. From the gardens one would expect blossoming flowers, trees with leaves and nice paths for walking. However, this is not true...More

Good area for All family members to take a Walke and see the garden, plenty of room for kids to play, and you can make picnic ord bring stuff for barbecue grills Will be lit by staff. Se homepage for details.

Thank you for the nice review. We are happy to hear that you had a good time. For information I can tell that the size of the garden is 12 ha and about 5-6 is grass were you can play and walk.
Extraordinary place! Our children loved it. It has everything you could hope for. We spent 3 hrs here.
It has 2 big playgrounds with a Viking ship, excavators, slides, wooden train. It has a petting zoo. You can actually go in and pet goats, alpaca...More

Thanks for your lovely rewiev. We are happy to here you had fun with our animals and the mini city - a miniture replica of Kolding Town ca. anno 1850 in a corner of the garden.
This place is a bit pricey (80,-) but it is a good place to spend an afternoon (especially if the weather is nice) There are many beautiful trees and flowers to enjoy. The park occasionally has concerts in their 'Kamelia-house'.

This is a big garden, well tended, with flora from many places around the globe, as well as some animals. At the end there is Miniby (Danish for mini-town) where they reconstruct Kolding (pronounce: Calling) as it was in 1870. We played frisby on the...More
If you visit Kolding in the spring or summertime, this is a must see. The gardens are beautiful and Kolding Mini By is fun for locals as well.
So pack a lunch or buy a sandwich at the cafe, and enjoy the scenery.
