We visit the rain forest 3-4 times a year and everytime there is something new to see. My kids are 2 and 3 years old and they love it, especially when they can feed the animals. Remember it can be very warm inside despite it is cold outside, so wear light clothes. There are cabinets for your clothes but they... More

We visitied Randers Rainforrest while vacationing an hour further north. While it was my cousins fifth or sixth time, we had never been there, and we are in awe of the tropical and exotic feel they have managed to create! The three domes represent different continents unique atmosphereswith their own wildlife. I have never been to any zoo where you... More

Remember to go to the butterfly/snake-area. The new outside complex have two amazing jaguars (one black... More

To call it a rainforest is an exaggeration. The place is more three large greenhouses in a tropical climate. We visited in the Summer, we reckon that the place adds more value during the cold winter. Of the tree geographical greenhouses, we liked South America the most.

Great reconstruction of different natural habitats with animals which roam free inside the domes with you. We had birds flying by our head, little monkeys jumping in front of us, visitors can feed the animals at the proper times with the food provided by the zoo (don't bring your own) and the zoo keepers sometimes have guided tours or exhibits.... We went two adults and two children. The children was very hyped about alle the animals. Definitely worth the time and wisit. A bonus is the big playground out back with hours of activity for the children + a great animal show thoug in danish but you will enjoy it anyway...

Great adventure in store, it's really a true rainforest experience. There is a possibility of authentic sounds, you can come close to both small and large animals. There is also the opportunity to experience feeding the animals.
