Have been to Coast Guard beach many times and for many years. Not a place to swim but some very shallow water perfect for young kids. Go anytime between Friday and Monday and watch an endless stream of boats entering or leaving New Harbor. You...More

A bike ride away on a dirt road with a lovely view along the way down. We had to push our bikes in some spots due to the sand ending at the Coast Guard building and keep out signs of no trespassing were displayed. Plenty...More

Although the road is unpaved and long to this beach, it is a great place to watch the boats come in and out of the salt pond. There are always lots of fishermen. It is good to cool off in the water, but not really...More

This is my favorite beach. It's really out of the way on a bumpy unpaved road but it's worth it. It's right on the inlet to new harbor so there are always boats coming and going. Parking is extremely limited so bicycle is the best...More

I'm not a huge beach person because I find I always burn, but this beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. Must see while in Block Island.
