We stopped by this wonderful beach on our bike ride around Block Island. Very relaxed beach with small waves that the kids loved jumping. Of course the scenery on the island is gorgeous!

There are better beaches on the island, but if you crave solitude, it's here. The only distinction is that you can see the bones of an old mansion before the long climb down to the rocky beach below.

A recent visit prompted this description: Most beautiful beach! Expansive, immaculate, 5 minutes from town, pet friendly, picturesque.

Mansion is a great beach on BI. When not prime time, it may be a little less crowded because it's a little further out. It's very similar to Scotch Beach (which it's right next too). There are no services (bathrooms/food) though, so if you have...More

Following Mansion Road, you come to a nice parking area. Short hike to beach which was not crowded. Clean. Inviting. Enjoy!

A foggy, misty morning at low tide is the perfect time to explore this beach. Lots of water critters, lots of tide pools, and it's peaceful as well as beautiful.
