Although the trek to get to this beauty does not look hard...it can be a bit much for some. The sand mixed with beach rocks can be a workout. We walked to the northern most point to find a taped off area protecting about 50...More

Like so much of Block Island, it has seasonal hours. Unfortunately, that meant not seeing the interior in the off-season, hence only 4. It is a walk to get here, too, but the walk is absolutely worth it. The views are spectacular, and the park...More

There is a very nice parking area where you can leave your car or bike on your way to the lighthouse...about 1/2 a mile away! The walk is along a beach and a wild life preserve. It is very soft sand and it takes some...More

Worth the bike ride from our Inn to North Lighthouse. Be prepared to walk up to the lighthouse on uneven sandy terrain and hilly. We didn't do the inside tour. The outside is just as good

the lighthouse is easily visible from the incoming ferry and is also a stop on the cab tour. The southeast light is a bit more impressive but harder to get to

Although maybe a little bit of a hike/ walk for some, it was well worth it. Absolutely beautiful views of the tip of the island, and so peaceful. We had most of the beach and trails to ourselves!
