The Bluffs are amazing all year round. The views are gorgeous and it is almost a completely different view from each landing as you walk down. I once did some yoga on the bottom landing at sunset. (It was offseason, so no one else was...More

Beautiful walk down to the beach but it is a long haul if you plan to bring beach chairs, food etc down. The view and the cliffs are spectacular! A must see!

Beautiful views at this beach, you'll need to climb about 140 steps to get back up to the road but if you're up to the challenge, the experience on the beach is a reasonable reward. Looks a bit like Ireland.

This is a must see on Block Island. It’s just gorgeous. Coming back up the stairs is a bit taxing after biking around the island, but it’s well worth the effort of getting back up for the views from the beach.

A 150 foot cliff, easy walk from the car park, but a long well maintained wooden stairway to the beach. Too much for my brother’s bad knees. Great views out to the five huge windmills that can supply most of the island with power. A...More

The view from this point is exquisite. The only drawback is the number of stairs to get down and then back up! It would be very difficult for young children or older people. The beach is limited , a little rocky but the views make...More

There are 137 steps to a rocky formation which has to be climbed in order to reach the beach. Getting back is considerably more difficult. There is a rope that you can pull yourself up and to the rocks and back to the stairs. Currently...More

We stopped here briefly while following the map the bike rental company gave me. The view from the top of the cliffs is great. I did walk down all the steps to the beach, just to say I did. The climb back up was challenging....More

This is a stunning, stunning place. The staircase leading to the bluffs is epic. The cliffs themselves are a natural wonder. If you come to Block Island this is a must-see!!

I believe allowed on leash but unless you are carrying a small pup, getting up and down the 140+ stairs will be tuff going, hard enough for a human let alone an animal! Plus at the bottom of the last step, it is eroded out... More
