Great morning out!

Beautiful walk through the park. And excellent service in the restaurant by Jola, who makes the best hot chocolate!

Wonderful place really great to see all the restoration work, so many lovely things to see. Friendly knowledgeable staff, so much open space, would recommend to anyone for a lovely day outside.

Painshill park is a beautiful garden to wander round. Almost at every turn there is something of interest to look at. The lake is beautiful and well kept with many different water birds. The grotto is stunning and the water wheel and gothic tower worth a visit. At the end of the visit the tea room is worth a visit... More

Real gem of tranquility on a spring afternoon. Lovely walk with so many interesting things to see. Walked up the tower which is a narrow, long round staircase with a pop up cafe after a short climb. The grotto is impressive as are the bridges, I enjoyed it all

Was recommended to visit by a friend who had recently been so decided to try it out. Was worth the small entrance fee, well kept grounds, few types of different walks to do and lots to see on the walks, plenty of spots to pitch up for a nice picnic in the weather and take in the peace and quiet,... We had a wonderful day looking around the park. The group learnt a lot about the art of landscaping and what a folly is. Its a superb place to visit and I'd like to go back there again. We had glorious weather which helped but even if that hadn't been the case we would have still enjoyed this lovely and truly... More

This is a really interesting spot, set in beautiful grounds and featuring a series of follies on a long route around the site. You get some great views further afield at certain points.

I am lucky to be working down at Painshill at weekends. This weekend was another glorious spring day. Peacock butterflies, kingfishers on the river. A safe place to take your family and get the kids out in the fresh air.

Even in the Winter the views around these gardens are lovely and made us want to return to experience all the seasons, Very reasonable guide book. Only downside was the cafe, which was in need of more staff to clear and wipe tables and for a place full of stunning views it was in a dingy corner.
