One of my all time favourite coffee/ lunch/ girlie catch up venues. Today was a bit of a disappointment. Despite a sign at the entrance telling me that dogs on leads are welcome, it appears they are not welcome everywhere. This was my first visit...More

I'm a fan of this place and used it as a useful meeting place off the A3. It's pretty and quirky and fun to wander round the various concessions and lovely garden. The restaurant at the back is good, if expensive, with attentive staff and...More

Lovely gardens, with a pretty little cafe in the hothouse. Good food at reasonable prices. Art for sale too.

Fabulous brunch with friendly service and delicious food. The Hothouse Eatery was such a lovely setting and great to explore the shops and garden after. Staff were extremely helpful and no problem with a baby and a toddler. Will definitely be coming back here.

Love visiting here but haven’t been for about 6 months. At first glance the cafe looks very inviting. Lovely cake display. Friendly staff. However the cleanliness behind the counter was awful. Coffee dregs, old teabags, dirty plates and cloths on a small grubby work surface....More

It is quite an interesting place for an afternoon tea with friends after looking around the small shopping area in the centre. Lunch is very average but reasonable price so I guess it would suits some people with limited budget?

Perhaps it was my misunderstanding but I had expected to see a lot more in the way of beds and plants to learn about. Its a beautifully tranquil place, with some lovely little shops to browse in. We didn't visit the tea rooms and the...More

The cafe has lost its quirky edge since it was done up - it’s become very generic and dull, nothing special about it at all. The girl working behind the counter had little interest and customer service qualities. I had a tuna melt which seriously...More

The Medicine Garden is a beautiful, rather romantic environment. We enjoy practising tai chi there because of the tranquil atmosphere which it maintains while being welcoming to little children and their chatty mummies. The little shops are intriguing with the work of local artists and...More
