Dragonara Casino, the number one casino in Malta, is owned and operated by Dragonara Gaming Limited. The Dragonara Casino is housed within the majestic Dragonara Palace and has been operating since 1964 offering a unique gaming and entertainment destination 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Dragonara Casino is conveniently located within the St. Julian’s are featuring 250 slot machines, 15 live tables, a premier poker room overlooking the St. George’s Bay, a VIP-Lounge for high-roller private gaming, a Sports Lounge and one of Malta’s top rated restaurants. Dragonara Gaming Limited took over the operation of the Dragonara Casino in 2010 and since then has invested over €25 Million in the property. The Casino underwent a major investment upgrade project earlier in 2016 propelling the property into the ranks of the most prestigious and pristine gaming properties in the Mediterranean. Situated on the tip of the ‘Tad-Dragun’ promontory in St Julian’s the Dragonara Palace is one of Malta’s most extraordinary and imposing private properties built in the classical style almost as a grand romantic folly. Built in 1870 as the summer residence of the Marquis Scicluna the Dragonara Palace opened as Malta’s first Casino in 1964. The Dragonara Casino was one of the first major projects to establish Malta as a prime tourist destination. The Palace is a landmark property in Malta surrounded by a colonnaded veranda that abuts directly onto the sea. It retains many of the original architectural and interior design features, which have been successfully adapted to the requirements of casino patrons.

Entrance to the casino made it look very upmarket but I wasn't impressed with the internal aspects. Wished I hadn't bothered to dress up as many of the customers hadn't . The smell of smoke in some of the side rooms was most off putting....More

Apart from the ambience outside, everything inside is mediocre. Visited at night and only 3 tables were available - blackjack, roulette and poker. Odds are very bad as well for example in blackjack you can't split aces twice. No sidebets available apart from a progressive...More

I was informed by the Hotel that the Casino had a good Restaurant...WRONG ! Unless you are into Hamburgers, this must be one of the worst places to have dinner in Malta. As far as the actual Casino is concerned, its typical of most moderate...More

It’s a very old small Castle that was made into a Casino, so it has beautiful architecture. There are plenty of slot machines and computerized games, and a few real tables. Personally, I feel like that there are not enough from the real play tables....More

A casinos near the Westin Hotel. The casino is situated right at the end , thus it takes a good 5-7 minuted to walk from the main road. Better than most casinos in Malta but not as good as most major casinos in the world.
