Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was a last minute decision to pop in on our way back to our hotel after a full day out. Was only half hour before it closed.
But plenty of people still inside. They used to do tastings, but stopped now because of the restrictions. But we know our favourites and very happy with our choice of yoghurt, cheeses, crackers and plum paste! Didn't realise they had ice cream too! So a very generousl scoop in a cup was wonderful! So creamy!
Service was excellent , very friendly. Ice blocks are available to purchase, along with cooler bags. Plenty of choice in dairy products, along with cheese boards and knives, ceramic table ware and a few other culinary goodies!

We made a booking to go here on a recent day trip as we didn't just want to show up with a large group. The only person that was friendly was the artist outside painting the mural. When we got inside the staff were not helpful at all and one employee was extremely rude! When we tried to make a purchase we were told they didn't have any change to give, wouldn't let us pay with a card and then DEMANDED that we find another person with change to pay for it. Most of the group had to leave without purchasing anything. Will never go back.

firstly, i am not a big dairy product fan at all so for me to walk out with two cheeses is a massive compliment to this place. but thats about where my good will ends. i will mention that on visiting the place (which was part of a brewery and winery tour) we were informed by our guide that the main building had recently burned down and the company had lost a large amount of produce so i have taken into consideration that the owners/employees might be having a tough time at the moment. when entering there were a number of different cheeses cut up into tiny cubes and put out on tasting plates for you to sample. when i went to sample the cheese i honestly didnt notice the tooth picks left out for you to use and picked up a tiny cube of cheese with my hands, to which i was quickly told not to do. i have no problem with this and must admit i need to open my eyes as they were right in front of me. i apologised and then proceeded to sample the same cheese again but with a toothpick as requested. i picked up 3 tiny cubes of cheese to sample in one hit and then was abruptly told by the now sour faced lady not to take anymore as it has got to last for everybody else. being raised by well mannered parents i quickly apologised and moved off to another area of the building and actually bought some of the cheese i tried. looking back i should have mentioned in an abrupt manor that if i were to buy any of their produce i require to taste it first, and walked out of the building without buying a thing. and to add insult to injury i have just seen the exact same product in woolworths for a few dollars cheaper than i purchased it on the day. the company maybe going through a difficult time at the moment but no need to take it out on potential customers. that said, i will continue to purchase their products now i know i can get it cheaper and be served by someone with smile 5 minutes down the road at woolworths.

WOW. The Margaret River Dairy Company has been operating from 1966 and it will not disappoint. You are greeted by smiling and helpful staff members with a wide array of goods to taste including premium quality cheeses and yoghurts. Located in the Margaret River region, we purchased the silky double cream camembert and black peppercorn cheddar to enjoy back at the hotel. Well worth popping in to enjoy the array of products on offer. Lots of parking space on offer too.

HINT: Bring an insulated bag with you, so that you can pop any goods you purchase in there to keep cool. These are also available for purchase.

The cheese tasted was very nice, especially the vintage but was disappointed with the interaction as I had heard really good things about it. There was no explanation about the cheeses, just the 3 you are tasting are in that order on the board in the fridge and she walked away. It was not busy we were the only ones in there.

We stopped here to enjoy cheese and other dairy products. They were wonderful and offered free cheese samples. We bought lots of cheese and the kids had one of the best milk shakes ever. It kept them happy so we could visit a couple a wineries. Everyone was a winner.

Its almost not worth writing a review as its basically just a small cheese shop with some freebies.

There appear to be two sites very close together. We went to the smaller one. No problems, just a little underwhelming. All their products are sold in major supermarkets so there is no real point buying it from source.

Be warned, there is no bathroom.

Other than a grumpy sales assistant, we were pleased with the chocolate samples, variety of gifts for everyone and the quality of the chocolate!
