I thought the place was fantastic but it can get very crowded with the car park filling up early. This can cause congestion on the road in. The hike up to the falls is steep and rocky. On a wet day I would think it...More

A nice short trip from Sandnes. The place is nice. Have been there a few times, and love the short and nice trip up to see månafossen. If the weather allows, try to take a swim near the parking. Its really refreshing.

It was a very nice walk/climb up to the waterfall that does not require specific hiking experience. A set of good shoes and an oke phisical condition makes it achievable by most people. This hike trail was not so crowded and once above the waterfall...More
