We took a guided tour of Selma Lagerlof's house. Our guide admitted that she wasn't the most knowledgeable as she usually works in the gardens. She was pleasant enough. The house was beautiful and interesting. If you are a fan of Selma Lagerlof then it...More

You should absolutely visit the home of the amazing author Selm Lagerlöf. The first Swede and female to win a Nobel prize in litterature. We took a guided tour of her house and was not disapointed. Buy a crepe in the café too.

I was most faschinated about the life if Selma and her strong character. Her resolute decision about choice of profession and her success as a woman in a man-dominated era has my admiration. The place is peaceful and beautiful as well.

Very nice scenery and well keep with details from the time when Selma the famous writer lived here. They could do some renovation though on the outside of the house.

A very interesting heritage of the nobel prize awarded Selma Lagerlöf. The guided tour is very interesting, and is also the only way to see the inside of the house.
