I visited by chance the town of Evreux since it was a good compromise for reaching Normandy leaving from Paris. Actually it was a good choice because Evreux is worth a stop and its cathedral is worth a visit! Huge, it is a good example...More

Beautiful cathedral in a very quiet part of Evreux. Both inside and out very interesting and don't miss the sculpture at the back of the church

This is THE place to go for a tranquil period of quiet contemplation in beautiful, obviously much revered, surroundings. You can feel the centuries of love and prayer as you sit and soak it up.

An impressive cathedral to visit. A very well kept monument in the middle of the city of Evreux. Worth spending 30 minutes visiting.

The Cathedral is the most magnificent and perhaps the only remarkable building in Evreux. It is mix of Gothic and Renaissance architecture styles. There are beautiful stained-glass windows above the altar and in apse chapel.

Terrific cathedral with interesting very modern organ. We happened to arrive while practice for a concert was in progress so were lucky enough to hear this in action.
