We stumbled across this hidden gem accidentally. The centre provides you with a handpiece to give you access to information as you walk about the pathways and explore various levels of the canopy We saw a cassowary in the car park too which was a...More

I was expecting more from the entrance fee of 36 AUS$ pp than something that you can experience from many of the other trails in the surrounding area for free! Rainforest greenery but you have the added bonus of an electronic walking tour to tell...More

Thanks for taking the time to review our Centre and we are sorry it wasn't for you. We carefully monitor our necessary entry fee so we are able to showcase the Worlds Oldest Lowland Rainforest all year round as we are not government funded and...More

It pains me to say I was disappointed in this experience. The website suggested so much more. Firstly, this walk through the park is very small. Set in a tight sight, the trails double back on themselves so you never really get to see anything...More

We loved the discovery centre. The set up is really professional with a great guide book and audio guide. We spent several hours there and later referred to things we had learnt when doing other activities around the area. A must first stop to start...More

Completely worth the entry fee. Boardwalk and tower with audio guide and info booklet that kept us occupied and interested for two hours. There were also movies, three of them, each 45 mins, which we didn't stay for. This is a very old section of...More

Offering a virtual sound assistant this is a fabulous place to safely enjoy the oldest rainforest in the world. Not a lot of animals to be seen on our visit unfortunately but we enjoyed climbing the tower to arrive at the top of the canopy...More

Inside is nice and the elevated boardwalks are fine, If you can't google and want all your rainforest education read out to you, it's probably great. Othwerwise it's quite small and rather overpriced. Reptile and fish viewing sections are tiny compared to many similar outfits...More

Hiring a car allowed us the freedom to move around and see a range of attractions - without the worry of following a timetable. We were able to enjoy this attraction at our own pace.
