Had been there for a day, en-route to Tirpupati, with family. We were five of us. It is a small hill station without much to explore. No much attractions but for a mini zoo and a couple of view points but it is a good weekend hangout place with family or friends. It is definitely a weekend option for people... More

Horsely hills is a small hill station and suited for driving first time hill drivers, the curves are good and road quality is fine. Few adventure rope rides are available and view point also can be enjoyed. This place is suitable for half day kind of trip. The drive to Horesly hills is good.

Nothing much to explore. Weather is too hot (32 degree). You can spend half a day there and not more than that.

We visited Horsley hills two weeks back on a Saturday. We chose the Bengaluru - Hosakote - Chintamani - Gownipalli - Horsley hills route as shown by the Google maps. This takes you through a lot of villages and roads at times are kind of narrow. The hills itself is very small and takes about 10min to reach the top.... More

It's a decent place to hangout with friends and family. We started from Bangalore at 5:30 and took the shortest route via Chintamani-Rayalpadu- Madanapalle. The roads are good and we reached at around 10:30, with several stops on the way. It's better to carry breakfast because it's hard to find good restaurants once you enter Andhra, until you reach Madanapalle.... More

Visited Horsely Hill during long weekend. Started from Bangalore at 7am and reached by 10am. Stayed at Holiday home stay in four bedded accommodation, which was decent. Nothing much to do other then relaxing and enjoy sunrise and sunset. very small zoo and adventure camp can keeps the kids busy for sometime.

A nice place to visit from Bangalore (around 170kms). Good views, there are adventure sports for kids. A nice park and great for small treks. Weather cool and pleasant with no pollution. The APTDC hotel is average but overall experience was good. If by car, when returning come via madenapalli even if it is slightly longer as it's full highway... More
