After many recommendations from friends and internet prospects, I decided to give in to my wife's insistence and come for a stay at Saliris in Egerszalók. And I'm not sorry. We opted for a double "superior" room and half board (breakfast and dinner with buffet) and we chose to park the car in the "underground" parking lot (we put the quotes because the parking lot is located on level 5 of the hotel). The hotel is built in steps, on a hillside, with all rooms facing the limestone formation that is representative of the area. The thermal baths are the attraction of the hotel and the area, being doubled by the possibility to visit special tourist attractions in the area, mainly the Citadel and the Basilica of Eger, but also for the many wineries in the area where you can organize wine tastings. the vineyards that cover all the hills as far as the eye can see. Along with the thermal water pools you will also find normal water pools but also all the facilities of a SPA, and the surroundings, covered by pine forests, with wonderful alleys, offer walking enthusiasts an opportunity to exercise outdoors. I can only talk about this hotel and the services offered superbly and I warmly recommend to anyone who wants to come to the area, especially to those who are regular visitors to the resorts of Hajduszoboszlo. I highly recommend.

Big spa complex at Saliris Resort and Spa, with big indoor pools (from 14C to 36C) and wellness. There are at least 10-15 different pools alltogether, also pool with sliders for children, but this Saliris Spa wellness complex it is not an aquapark! The outdoor thermal pool is a second to none especially in cold seasons and weather (autumn and winter and spring), when your head breezing, while you are in the warm 33-36C water.

Our soul hotel for relaxation. Twice. Clean and very nice hotel with excellent services. The rooms were very good size, good beds and clean bathrooms. Good wifi in room plus cable connection hi speed internet. Plenty of pools with thermal and normal water with 35 and 38 degrees. Sauna sector is excellent: nice russian and finnish sauna hot and very hot. All with extra charge: 1200 ft for all day /person. At fixed hours they have sauna ceremony master with salt, beer, honey :) Towels at discretion. Good hygiene everywhere. A lot of pools with jacuzzi, for children too. Quiet place with multiple relaxation chambers and chairs.
All chambers have nice balcony with good panorama to salt hills. The food is excellent, various and tasty. Wild boar with forest fruit, goose with orange, fish, hungarian goulash soup, everything what you needed. The staff is very kindly. You can try plenty of treatment for women and man, chocolate and grapes package with massage aprox 90 min. Decent prices. Not very far from hotel, 10 min with car, in Eger, you can try old and famous hungarian red wine (Bikaver). Certainly will not be disappointed for anything.

The Saliris Spa resort is just fantastic! The water is warm inside and outside, there are plenty of rooms to relax and bathe. It was just great. Would go back anytime. Haven't stayed at the hotel, but I want to, next time I have the chance to go to this heavenly place.

Well, we have visited this place as part of our summer vacation. I can say, that I really have enjoyed it. There are several small things I like about this place. First of all, it is easy to find it from Egerszalók, even if you are not travelling by car.
Secondly, the place has many pools, and the majority of the are filled with thermal water, so being in the water it is a joy, as you are not freasing after 2 minutes or so.
You can also easily find place if you want to get a tan, as they have two models of tanning chairs, and they can be used for free.
They have animators also, they offer aquafitness, which is for free, you just have to be in the right place at the right moment. We have also visited the "Salthill", they also offered a free guided tour, followed by a quiz.
They have a restaurant at the first floor with quite good food, you should try their greek fruit soup, which is cold and very tasty.
It was nice also that we should have not carried money with us inside the spa, as our entrance bracelet was charged with everything we have bought.
The only negative side of this place is that the entrance fee is quite expensive. But you get super services for it, this is for sure.

I love this place. It is modern and new with none of the confusion and grumpy staff that often come with older establishments. The prices are quite steep but if you get a 3 hour ticket (ample in my opinion) it is quite reasonable. The mineral hills just by the pools really do add to the atmosphere. The pools are clean and well maintained as are the showers etc. Be warned the thermal mineral pools are quite pungent, I am still trying to get the smell out of my swimming costume! If you do not have transport a bus leaves Eger bus station once an hour.

There are so many baths of varying temperatures, both inside and outside. There is a comfort level for everyone.
Upon entering the spa, which is attached to a hotel but has a separate entrance just for the baths, you are given a wrist band. There is no decision that has to be made on which services you want. You proceed to the locker room where you hold up your wristband to a monitor. The monitor assigns you a locker. Proceed to the changing rooms and locker. From there you can wonder into any of the pools, If you want to use the sauna, have a massage or eat, your wristband is scanned. At the end of it all, upon exiting, they scan your wristband and you pay. It is all very convenient.
The indoor and outdoor pools face the salt hills. We were there at night and only one part of the hill was lit.
We were staying in Eger and took a taxi to and from this spa. Our taxi each way was $20. Maybe we were ripped off. I definitely would check into the bus service if I did it again.

Saw this resort on a previous trip . Loved the fact that we stayed there this time. The outside spa pools were comfortable and relaxing. They offered other service, massages etc that were not included in the hotel stay. The room was nice and our view overlooked the mineral areas and were beautifully lit up at night. Scenic view of mountains in distance Breakfast buffet was included and a lot to choose from. Very good. Would love to visit again.

I came after 5pm to have a 2200ft price which is acceptable. We only came for the bath and I have to say it is too good!
Great bath with different features. NOT TOO CROWDED! That s great since you cant enjoy much with too many people!
Only thing is that if you travel by bus from Eger. You have to know the bus timetable since it is once every 2 hours.
