Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have camped here with our caravan about 6 times now over the last couple of years. Agree with Crystalline4u that the signposts on the main road could be improved but considering it is essentially privately owned and funded I guess that ain't going to be improved anytime soon. Can fit quite a few vans, buses and tents in here. Popular with backpackers too. Can get some locals come up here late at night and make a bit of noise but we have never had any trouble. Dogs love swimming in the Tyers River and there is a long walking track that starts here and ends in Moondarra Reservoir. The caretakers appreciate travellers staying overnight as the locals that visit tend to behave a bit better!

It's only the second time I have visited this park and both times I have to admit that I was a tad bemused... it is signposted...but the turn is sharp and nothing really alerts you to the fact it is there except a small signpost. So you follow a dirt road, and then you will see it signposted to enter. Follow another road until you come to the end.
Set in the foothills to the north of the Latrobe Valley you will notice there is a water catchment here as well as numerous electrical lines to mar your view of the countryside. It's undisputed that Gippsland is beautiful but this location has that eclectic mix of the necessities for society to survive mixed into a protected area.
There is a good, clean BBQ facility here and there are toilets. It's quite pretty when you stand next to the nearby creek. This place is very hit and miss for me. I read a sign that camping is not allowed but closer to the creek there are campers.
For me, it's a series of mixed messages for the location. One of it's most redeeming features is it's not too far from Traralgon if you do want to escape somewhere close.
