Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited here for some wonderful times walking by the river, fishing with the whole family and relaxing with some river side picnics while we stayed in nearby Venus Bay for our midwinter escape.

My father and I traversed by car along the edges of the Tarwin River and found it quite enchanting. There were fishermen enjoying the beautiful day over the Easter weekend... it's really quite stunning.
The paths were well maintained along the edge of the river and the little fishing posts were very well set up and there were so many of them! Asides from the busy fisherman, we saw plenty of walkers taking advantage of the walking path.

Beautiful spot to stop and stretch after returning from wilsons prom or venus bay. The locals have spent countless hours building a boardwalk and fishing pontoons. Lovely spot to watch sunsets. Best enjoyed in town of Tarwin Lower
