Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of my favourite falls in Victoria. Wonderful scenery on the way to the falls. Shaded and perfect on a summers day. Huge trees and ferns. The walk is a perfect length for a family - about an hour. Not too steep.

We travelled to the falls just before Christmas with my family. It was my second visit to the falls. It is a lovely walk that takes about an hour. The first section is a little steep but it isn't too bad really. The two waterfalls are both gorgeous and well worth the trip. There are lots of camping sites nearby as well.

The beauty of nature and the power she holds.
This is a great walk if you are wanting to get some exercises in nature.
The walk can be steep but well worth the effort.

It's really good for day trip. People are camping nearby there. The walk is great, easy to do it. The falls is beautiful.

Visited here after the heavy rain.
The road to the falls was closed about 2 kms before the car park and there were still plenty of idiots driving through the road closed sign. We parked prior to the sign along with other responsible citizens.
As we walked along the road we saw plenty of obvious reasons why it was closed to vehicles, including washaways, downed trees and mudslides. The walk up to the falls took around 30 mins from the end of the road. The force of the river was evident and the water tumbled down the boulders. The falls were very picturesque. Again a couple of idiots were standing at the edge of the top of the falls on slippery rocks, trying to get that Instagram pic. It is simply not worth it.
There were plenty making the trek which would have been a 6-7 kms round trip from the road block sign.

These falls are well worth seeing as part of any day trip to the area, even though they are not large. The walk is pleasant, and the circuit does NOT take as long as the sign suggests. We are not fit (our 60's) and even a slow walk took us only 45 mins instead of the 60-90 mins on the sign.
If you walk to see Toorongo Falls before Amphitheatre falls, you will get the steep bits out of the way first and then have a pleasant downward walk for the rest of the circuit.

This was a spectacular place. Amazing walk. Beautiful camp ground. However the 'trial' monstrous skip bin was like essentially the smell of a tip. It also encouraged copious amounts of wasps. Let's hope this issue is rectified.

First time to these falls, what a treat. Two falls on one loop, stunning scenery, babbling Brooks and impressive falls. Some up and down but not difficult

We went there with the children and family friends. If you live around South East and want to go for a day trip sight seeing and seeing some amazing (all year round) water falls, this is the place to be.

Dogs allowed
Children friendly (just be aware as it could be a little slippery when wet)
Medium fitness (and I’m not fit and it worked)

Enjoy the deep forest with just amazing sounds of water running.

Picnic area is also there, but we enjoyed the picnic at Noojee town where there’s more toilets, and bigger picnic space for families.

Also don’t miss the old bridge, that’s is just a 10-15 minutes simple round trip.

This is an amazing place to visit with two absolutely beautiful waterfalls within easy reach. Depending on which way you go first, you can cover Toorongo Falls and Amphitheatre Falls with an easy to moderate walk from the car park. The round trip (covering both falls) should take about an hour. There are also a number of smaller falls along the way. There is ample car parking spaces as well as public toilets and picnic tables.
