Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Garden at Broughton Hall in Jindivick has four acres of terraced gardens overlooking the Tarago Reservoir with a fantastic view of the Great Dividing Range.

My wife and I drove here to visit this lovely place and admire the work and effort that has been invested in developing such a magnificent Garden.

There are seven main areas of the Garden, namely Yellow Garden, Cherry Walk, Pink Garden, Colonnade, Rock Outcrop, Upper Terrace and The Garden Room.

In the Garden Room, there are comfortable seats and plenty of gardening books to read. Complimentary tea and coffee are also available here.

We at first thought by the name that this was going to be old Victorian era house but it is actually a relatively modern place used predominantly for weddings.
The garden though is without doubt the highlight. An amazing garden that was obviously extremely well designed and terraces built out of the hillside overlooking Tarango Lake and views over the countryside. The gardens themselves are stunning with a great variety of plants from roses, succulents, maples and much much more. A small tea room at the base of the gardens offers great views of the surrounding fields. At the entrance of the place is a quaint nursery with slightly overpriced plants and other products. Friendly staff and to enter the gardens you have to pay a $20 entrance fee for adults. Must visit for avid gardeners.
